-    Marathon:  from 45 euros to 55 euros, from the 15th of December 2011

-    Half-Marathon: from 22 euros to 28 euros, from the 15th of January 2012
-    Ladies race : from 12 euros to 15 euros, from the 1st of febraury 2012

Cancellation insurance
For this new edition, the Marseille Marathon proposes you cancellation insurance for 7 euros.
In case of illness, injury, transport accident of the insured, or death of the insured's spouse, parent, or child, a medical certificate or other legal proof will have to be addressed to the Marseille Marathon (art. 15, registration rules) to the following address:

Medical certificate
Participation in sporting events organised or accredited by sports federations is subject to the possession of a sports licence attesting the issue of a medical certificate.
The medical certificate has to stipulate the absence of contraindications for participation in running competitions       
For the non-licensed, the participation is subject to the possession of a simple medical certificate (or the copy) dating from less than one year at the race date.
Only certificate delivered by doctor, dating from less than one year at the race date and stipulating the mention: “no contraindications for participation in running competitions” will be accepted.
Pay attention:
As the Ministère de la Jeunesse et des Sports and the FFA notify, "for raisons of the
difficulty of signatory recognition and of the translation of mentions indicated on the
certificate, it is necessary that the certificate be delivered in english or in french.

Competition licences accepted:  FFA, FFTRI, FSCF, FSGT and UFOLEP
(the 3 latest sports licences need to include the athletics mention)

Starting lock
To assure you the best conditions, you will have to choose a target time regarding to your performance goals corresponding to following locks:
- 2h30, - 3h, 3h, 3h30, 4h00, 4h30, 5h00 and 5h30 for the Marathon
- 1h15, 1h15, 1h30, 1h45, 2h00 and 2h30 for the Half-Marathon


We recommend you to choose a target goal according to your ability. 

For marathon goals of « -  2h30 et - 3h » and half-marathon goals of « -  1h15 », you are subjected to send us a proof of performance dating from 2011 to 2012 with your medical certificate or your sports licence copy.

Registration confirmation
After the confirmation of your online registration or after reception of your form by post, you will receive an e-mail of confirmation for your payment acceptance.
To complete your registration, you will have to give at the village when you collect your bib:
- a medical certificate (or copy) with the mention: "no contraindications for participation in running competitions".
- or a copy recto/verso of your sports licence dating from less than 6 months or 1 year at the date race.

Cancellation
Each registration is personal, and definitive and cannot be refund for whatever the reasons.
No registration transfers will be allowed, whatever the reasons.
Any person retroceding his/her runner number to a third party, will be held responsible in case of an accident arising or provoked by this third party during the competition.
The organisation is exempt from all responsibility in case of an accident in this type of situation. Runner numbers must be fully legible during the whole race.
