The Croix Rouge and the battalion of the Marins Pompiers of Marseilles provide a medical service with 9 first aid posts along the route. Accident and emergency doctors on these posts will be able to stop any competitor from continuing the race for medical reasons.

Every runner could drop off a closed bag (we recommend you to use the runner bag gave to you the day before the race) and could pick it up after the race in presenting his/her runner number.
To help every runner who gets targeting time, the Marseille Marathon organizers offer the chance of following the advanced runners rhythm.
These runners are missioned to finish the race (42,195 km) in a target time. They can be spotted thanks to colourful balloons.
Five target times are available:
- The Marseille Marathon in 3h. Speed: 14 km/h; either 4'17'' per km
- The Marseille Marathon in 3h30. Speed: 12 km/h; either 5' per km
- The Marseille Marathon in 4h. Speed: 10,5 km/h; either 5'40'' per km
- The Marseille Marathon in 4h30. Speed: 9,25 km/h; either 6’25’’ per km
- The Marseille Marathon in 5h. Speed: 8,4 km/h; either 7’07’’ per km
Timing
Participants will get a "DAG system" incorporated in their bib.
This DAG system is provided by the KMS company;
It will be automatically initialised on the starting line and will be used as a steadiness control at the different route stations.
Animations and activities will be proposed along the route…
Lively atmosphere guarantee!
At arrival, massages and care stands will be at runner disposal.
Cares will be provided by the students of the Institut de Formation de Masso-Kinésithérapie and of the Collège Ostéopathique de Provence.
